Rolbac has steadily carved out a reputation as one of the most distinctive voices in house music to emerge from the Middle East, earning his place on some of the scene’s most respected imprints along the way. Labels including Einmusika Recordings, Kindisch, Senso Sounds and MAHOOL have all hosted his output, each release adding another layer to a catalogue defined by powerful rhythms, captivating vocal hooks and a singular sonic identity rooted in his own cultural and musical background.

Now he lands on Yousef‘s Circus Recordings for his debut on the label, bringing with him ‘Where Is My Love’. Built around a melancholy-tinged vocal that carries real emotional weight, the track settles into a deep, unhurried house groove underpinned by tight, precise drums. Piano stabs punctuate the arrangement with purpose, while synth melodies that nod warmly to the Eighties drift through the mix, giving the release a quietly euphoric quality that lingers long after it ends.

An artist who has never been content to coast on past achievements, Rolbac continues to push his craft forward, consistently expanding his skills and chasing something higher with every new piece of work.

I started producing music at 13 years old and started DJing when I was 14.

I used to work as a hair stylist when I was young.

I went through a serious life-changing event in Ibiza.

I once fell into a dishwasher when I was a child. 

I finished my first track when was 17.

Avision – Good Time – Ellum

This track carries the raw energy of a proper club record without taking itself too seriously. The groove relentlessly pushes forward until the vocal drops, instantly shifting the room into a carefree, euphoric state. It’s a rare anthem that commands the crowd exactly the same way, whether you’re deep in a warehouse at 3 AM or closing out a massive festival stage. It’s pure, unfiltered good energy.”

Roman Flügel  – 9 Years (DJ Koze Remix) – Pampa Records

His is the sound that shaped my early understanding of electronic music. Both DJ Koze and Roman Flügel were massive inspirations, and this remix perfectly captures why: it’s deeply emotional and hypnotic, yet entirely playful. It’s a masterclass in tension and release, evolving effortlessly without ever forcing the listener’s journey. A truly timeless record.

ChaseWest  – D.O.P.E. – Chaste Records

This one is all about the groove. The second that gritty bassline drops, you just can’t stand still, it physically moves you. It hits the exact same way whether I’m playing it or dancing to it in the crowd. It’s easily one of my favourite bangers to pull out. Plus, seeing another Lebanese artist like ChaseWest push our sound worldwide makes me incredibly proud.

Maceo Plex – Conjure Balearia – Ellum

For me, ‘Conjure Balearia’ exists at the perfect intersection of raw energy and deep emotion. It’s a rare track that allows you to close your eyes and feel something profound, while simultaneously commanding an entire room to move. Maceo Plex is an absolute master at striking this exact balance, which is why he remains one of my biggest inspirations.

Rolbac – Where Is My Love – Circus Recordings

Written during an isolated music retreat, ‘Where Is My Love’ was born out of a complete detachment from routine and pressure. That sense of ultimate freedom translates directly into the music. It carries a beautiful, nostalgic emotional pull that instantly transports me back to that specific moment in time. It’s a testament to the fact that the most profound ideas often surface when you simply let go and stop trying to force them.
