David Penn And House Of Molly Unite For ‘Talk To Me’

26 Αυγούστου 2026 - Music News

David Penn and House Of Molly have joined forces for ‘Talk To Me’, released through Cr2 Records on 21 August. The new single pairs Penn’s established house sound with the UK duo’s playful, vocal led approach.

Built around an infectious groove, ‘Talk To Me’ explores the silence that can take hold when a relationship begins to unravel. However, David Penn and House Of Molly turn that break up narrative into a lively club record rather than an introspective one.

“We were deep in early East Coast hip house when we made ‘Talk To Me’, and somewhere in there it turned into a break-up track. It’s about that point in a relationship where the conversation dries up. But it’s playful, it’s made for the floor. You can take it as a comment on how everyone’s stopped talking to each other, or you can just dance to it. Perhaps we can have it all..?” House Of Molly explain.

The collaboration continues a prolific period for Penn, whose career spans more than three decades and over 400 productions and remixes. His recent releases include ‘Satisfy My Soul’, ‘Just Stay The Night’ with Vintage Culture and Raphaella, and a 30th anniversary rework of ‘Nighttrain’ under his Kadoc alias.

Meanwhile, House Of Molly have previously worked with Jamie Jones, Nicole Moudaber and Eats Everything. BBC Radio 1’s Danny Howard has also named them among his producers to watch.
