Synthesis Recordings returns with its fifth release, ‘Tribalism / Reset’ EP, welcoming Kebin van Reeken with a raw and refined two-track EP that explores the intersection of organic rhythm and futuristic design.
At the core of the release, ‘Tribalism’ builds through layered percussion and a rolling, tribal groove, gradually pulling the listener into its atmosphere. A spoken vocal phrase emerges through the breakdown, adding a human, almost conversational element – before leading into the standout moment, landing just before the drop.
On the flip, ‘Reset’ shifts the focus toward a more stripped-back yet equally impactful direction. With a sharper, more minimal approach, the track leans into precision and space, allowing subtle textures and driving low-end elements to take control.
Together, the EP showcases a strong sense of control and dancefloor awareness, aligning seamlessly with the Synthesis ethos.
