KEFFI lands on Summer-ized Sessions with ‘U Know Me’, dropping 4th September, and it’s a peak-time tech house roller with a little more sunshine coming through the cracks.
The Scottish-born, London-based producer has been building nicely, with support from Carl Cox, Danny Howard and Dombresky, a Beatport Tech House #1 on his debut release, plus music on Toolroom Trax and Tropica Records. He’s also been popping up at UNVRS, Hï and Elrow.
KEFFI’s ‘U Know Me’ rolls on a thick low-end, tight groovy drums and a spoken vocal that sticks quickly. The percussion keeps it moving, but there’s a brighter, more feel-good edge here than straight heads-down tech house. The result still belongs firmly in the middle of a busy dancefloor, just with the blinds opened slightly.
It also points towards where KEFFI is heading next, with his move to London feeding a different side of club culture back into the studio.
We’re premiering ‘U Know Me’ today. Turn it up, then grab it when it lands on Summer-ized Sessions this Friday
Grab it on Beatport.
