Trip Tease maps psychedelic electronics on debut album ‘Durango’

Mexican producer Trip Tease has released his debut album, ‘Durango’, through clipp.art.
The musical project of Carlos Salame, Trip Tease combines contemporary electronic production with cinematic elements. Five years after his debut EP ‘Shades’, the 11-track album moves through house, melodic electronics, lo-fi pop, and organic textures.
‘Durango’ opens with ‘Jaguar’ and closes with the ambient tones of ‘Lila’, moving between dancefloor-oriented material and more introspective passages. ‘Seahorse’ leans into a nostalgic atmosphere, while ‘Mina de Cobre’ explores a hazier side of the record.
Across the LP, processed drums, warm synths, arpeggios, and hypnotic grooves form a consistent palette. The project follows years in which Trip Tease has worked on collaborations and remixes with artists including DJ Seinfeld, Ólafur Arnalds, Rhye, Poolside, Photay, Polo & Pan, and Kris Berle.
