The Indiigo Child announces his  ‘Memories’ EP

The Indiigo Child lands on Waveform Entertainment on 25th September with his new ‘Memories’ EP, and today we’re premiering the excellent ‘East Bay’.

Since launching the project in 2018, San Francisco-based Daniel Knott has built a sound around soul, emotion and club-focused house, with releases across Save My World, Alpha Good Girl, Techno Dream and Throttle Therapy.

The Indiigo Child’s ‘East Bay’ is all about the groove. Springy drums, an elastic bassline and blurred vocal touches keep it moving, while those melancholic chords give the track a little extra weight beneath the bounce.

Inspired by life around Northern California and Oakland’s Lake Merritt, it feels equally suited to a warm rooftop, a packed basement or that point in the night when the room has properly settled into its stride.

We’re premiering ‘East Bay’ in full today. Turn it up below and grab the ‘Memories’ EP when it lands on Waveform Entertainment on 25th September.

Grab it on Beatport.
