JOHANNSON and Kevin McKay have joined forces for their latest collaboration, ‘Do It All For You,’ which is out now via Glasgow Underground.
Built on a house foundation, ‘Do It All For You’ combines rhythmic precision with a focus on atmosphere and melody. The track reflects JOHANNSON’s direction in the studio while emphasizing his collaborative approach, resulting in a cohesive and focused production.
Across the track, a steady pulse drives the arrangement forward, supported by syncopated percussion and a resonant bassline. Vocal loops and layered synth textures add movement, while melodic elements unfold gradually, maintaining momentum throughout.
The JOHANNSON project, founded by Nenad Jovanovic, draws on more than twenty-five years of experience in electronic music. Shaped by performances across Europe, his work connects dancefloor instinct with studio output. Influenced by early synth-driven sounds from artists such as Jean-Michel Jarre and Giorgio Moroder, he continues to refine a style centered on emotion and sonic detail.
For this release, JOHANNSON links with Kevin McKay, founder of Glasgow Underground. With a career spanning back to the 1990s, McKay brings a broad perspective shaped by both production work and label curation. His experience supports a collaboration that feels balanced and grounded in shared understanding.
