u z z v has released his latest EP, ‘Shake Em,’ marking a return to his own 12+1 London imprint.
The new musical offering showcases the producer’s range across the house spectrum, moving from high-energy rhythms to more stripped-back club structures. The title track, ‘Shake Em,’ focuses on jackin’ house foundations and percussive drive, while ‘Serengeti’ incorporates tribal elements and rolling basslines suited for late-night sets.
A notable highlight of the EP is the closing track, ‘Protocol,’ which marks the first collaboration between u z z v and Ukrainian artist Barbara (UA). This final cut leans into minimal-deep tech territory, utilizing a hypnotic vocal layer and a restrained groove.
As the founder of 12+1 London, u z z v continues to use the platform to define his signature sound within the minimal and tech-house scenes.
