Thomas Bangalter returned behind the decks for a rare DJ appearance on The Lot Radio on June 8th, 2026, delivering a 75-minute set that showcased the breadth of his current musical interests.
The mix included music from Aphex Twin, Burial, Oklou, Flying Lotus, Nala Sinephro, Iannis Xenakis, and Tangerine Dream, alongside material connected to Bangalter’s ongoing work in contemporary ballet. Selections from his latest project, ‘Mirage – Ballet for 16 Dancers’, which was released last week, were also featured throughout the broadcast.
The appearance follows recent comments made by Bangalter to The Times, where he confirmed there is no current interest in a Daft Punk reunion. Reflecting on the duo’s legacy, he stated: “I’m really happy that throughout our long run we were able to not screw it up. There are other things to explore.”
