Huxley and AndThen have teamed up for ‘Head On’, a new collaborative release on Junior Jack’s Adesso Music. Out now, the track delivers a club-ready production aimed at high-impact moments across dancefloors and open-air spaces.
‘Head On’ opens with tight, muted drums and a focused low-end drive. Gradually, rising chords and tension-led piano phrases shape its emotional core, while a passionate female vocal introduces a nostalgic lift. In the breakdown, melodic pads and sweeping synth textures expand the atmosphere before the groove returns with renewed force.
The release brings together two complementary approaches. A mainstay of the UK underground, Huxley channels his groove-led sensibility and melodic detail, following releases on Aus Music, Hypercolour, Shall Not Fade, and Rekids. AndThen adds a percussive, tribal-leaning edge rooted in his house and techno fusion, building on work with Adesso Music, Circus Recordings, and Nervous.
