Bebbo and Bastian V serve up feel-good house ‘Thinking About You’ on Deep Root Records

Bebbo and Bastian V link up for ‘Thinking About You’, landing on Francis Mercier’s Deep Root Records on April 24, and it feels built for the first proper open-air sessions of the year.

The pair strike a smart balance here. Bright piano chords lead the charge, giving the track an instant feel-good pull, while crisp drums and a rolling low-end keep things locked for the dancefloor. There’s a touch of old-school house warmth tucked into the groove, but it still hits with enough punch for bigger club moments. The vocal hook does just enough before stepping aside and letting the rhythm do the heavy lifting.

Bebbo has been quietly building a strong reputation through releases on Stereo Productions and SHEN, as well as sets across Central America and beyond. His productions tend to feature plenty of movement and melody, and that’s evident here again. Bastian V brings his own flavour after releases on Hurry Up Slowly, Deep Root Tribe, and Connected, with support from names including Keinemusik, BLOND:ISH and Bedouin.

It’s easy to hear why this one has already been doing damage in sets. Equal parts sunshine and sweat, ‘Thinking About You’ feels right at home at beach clubs, rooftop sessions and those slightly messy 5AM moments when nobody wants to leave.
